Autumn is most definitely my favorite time of year. Nothing compares to stepping outdoors on a crisp autumn day and being surrounded by nature’s rich, jewel-tone colors. Soon it will be time to harvest the last of the spring and summer plantings, and the geraniums and morning glories on my front porch will be replaced with cornstalks, chrysanthemums, pumpkins, and gourds.

Embrace the vibrant colors of autumn with this issue’s sure-to-please collection of seasonal projects. Whether you choose to paint harvest-themed accents or whimsical Halloween designs, there is something for painters of all skill levels.
